If a body is a person's temple, then Lucas Luce's body is
one of the most illusory temples there are. But don't fret, for it is merely a
ruse. The Italian makeup artist practices his art on himself, and for what it's
worth, they are really convincing. Some of them are so real that it's even
somewhat creepy: his body seemingly bends and twists and glitches out to create
spacious 3D illusions. What probably makes them so realistic is that Luca has a
good eye for shadows and highlights, as well as hues and cues. And if you still
don't believe your eyes, perhaps some videos will make it more believable?
