Volkswagen’s cute and modern E-Up which made news for the comfort it offered in daily city commuting may be rolled out only in select US markets. The E-Up concept introduced at Frankfurt Auto Show 2009 provides room for 3 adults, plus one extra seat good enough to fit a kid or a small adult. The diminutive car has a range of 80 miles on one charge and a top speed of 84 mph which makes it perfect for clean city drive. It is expected that the car would be launched in five select markets where Nissan too intends to release its Leaf. The model being prepared for America in particular is expected to roll out by 2013.
